ASCENSION Extra Virgin Olive Oil — 2025 Harvest Notes
Share
Some harvests are ordinary. The 2025 pressing of ASCENSION was not.
ASCENSION is a blend of three cultivars — Mission, Frantoio and Leccino — grown on the Boutique Olive Grove estate in Xamdeboo, Aberdeen, and cold-pressed within hours of hand-picking. The Karoo’s high lime content in the soil and the 2025 season’s particular combination of heat and timing produced olives of exceptional character: aromatic, peppery, with a long finish.
Limited by Design
60 bottles. That’s the 2025 ASCENSION harvest in its entirety. A boutique grove produces boutique quantities — this is not a limitation we apologise for. It’s the reason each bottle carries the character it does.
The Box
Each bottle is presented in a handcrafted black box alongside Boutique Olive Grove’s imported Italian Balsamic Vinegar — a pairing chosen because the vinegar’s depth and balance complements the oil’s fruitiness without competing with it. It’s both a gift and a tasting.
Who It’s For
People who understand that olive oil is an agricultural product, not a commodity. Collectors. Cooks who finish dishes with something worth finishing with. Anyone who has tasted the difference between a genuine cold-pressed extra virgin and the alternative, and can’t go back.
ASCENSION 2025 is available in the shop while bottles remain.
