Every harvest is different. The Karoo sees to that — the rains come when they come, the heat does what it will, and the trees respond in ways that twenty years of farming still occasionally surprises us. The 2026 harvest is one of the good ones.
Introducing PROSPERITY 2026
PROSPERITY is our limited-release extra virgin olive oil — cold-pressed within hours of picking from three cultivars grown on the estate in Xamdeboo: Frantoio, Coratina, and Mission. Each one was hand-harvested at peak ripeness, sorted, and pressed the same day. No shortcuts. No sitting overnight.
The 2026 pressing has a character we're particularly pleased with. The Frantoio leads with its signature aromatic intensity — fresh herbs, artichoke, a clean green nose. The Coratina arrives mid-palate with its bold, polyphenol-rich backbone, providing a subtle peppery taste on the palate. And the Mission rounds the finish with fruit and a gentle buttery warmth. It's an oil that rewards a proper tasting: a small glass, room temperature, followed by bread.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh grass, green herbs, artichoke, light citrus zest.
Palate: Medium-full body, smooth entry, developing herb and green fruit mid-palate.
Finish: Peppery — the Coratina's calling card — long, warming, clean.
Style: Robust. This is an oil that means something.
Grown the Only Way We Know
No chemicals. No pesticides. Not this year, not any year since the first planting in 2007. The trees drink pure borehole water drawn from beneath the Karoo veld. Everything else — the heat, the cold nights, the dry air, the particular mineral character of this stretch of Eastern Cape — the trees take for themselves.

Limited Release
A boutique grove produces boutique quantities. PROSPERITY 2026 is a limited release — when it's gone, it's gone until the 2027 harvest. We don't make more because we can't. The grove decides the yield, and we bottle what it gives us.
